Connexion - Ministries

Connexion has a variety of ministries that seek to build believers and to reach those who do not yet know Jesus as Savior in Danville and beyond. Connexion Classes
At 9:30am every Sunday, we offer classes designed to teach and strengthen those who desire to follow Christ. We have a well supervised nursery for our youngest children as well as a children’s program for those in preschool through 5th grade. We have a Jr. and Sr. High class, a women's Bible study on the book of Daniel, and Connexion 301, a class designed to help each person understand how God has uniquely created them for service.

Small Groups
We believe strongly in the importance of small group participation as a way to develop deeper relationships with Jesus Christ and with others who share the same goal. Small groups can be great entry points for those who are new to Connexion and we encourage everyone to get involved in one soon. Please see our small group flyer for current small group offerings and feel free to contact Pastor Kurt if you would like to be connected with a group.

Triads
Triads are groups of three people who meet for the purpose of walking through the Christian life together. We all need encouragement and every once in a while, we might need a little push from behind to help us continue in our spiritual journeys with Jesus Christ. Triads provide a great forum for this to take place. For more information please see our flyer.

MOPS – Mothers of Preschoolers
Connexion has joined with MOPS International to offer a program for mothers of young children. This group meets at the church once a month. This year’s theme is: “Together on Planet Mom.” All Mothers of Preschoolers are invited and childcare is provided. For more information about participating in this group, please contact Melissa Leigh.

G.I.G.G.L.E.S. – Girls in God: Growing, Laughing, Eating, Sharing
Giggles is a ministry designed to bring women together to develop friendships and to provide opportunities for mentoring and discipleship relationships to be initiated. Our Giggles group meets monthly at various places around Danville. See the upcoming events for the next meeting or contact Kimberly Sovine for more information.

Fair Oaks Outreach
We want to be intentional about impacting areas of Danville where people have been forgotten. The Fair Oaks housing community is a place where the light of the Gospel is needed in a tremendous way. Through service projects, an after school children's Bible Club, and special events, we have been seeking to spread the good news of Jesus in the Fair Oaks community.
